I just wanted to share some of my favorite lyrics from this project that have inspired me untold
ways:

"Kitty, kitty, wanna come party tonight, Trippy, trippy, daddy, take me on a ride"

"Yeah, I, I got those palpitations, Those boom-boom-booms, I'm on a new vibration, Yeah, I, I
need some medication"

"You got me divin' deep in your system,I'm just a prisoner in your prison, You got me hooked on
your algorithm"

This album is like a video game with shitty gameplay and graphics, but lots of post-processing effects. It's basically a polished turd.

rKaty Perry's latest album, 143, sadly falls short of the high expectations set by her earlier work. While it attempts to recreate the magic of her iconic Teenage Dream era, the effort feels more like a shallow imitation than a genuine artistic evolution. The lack of originality throughout the album is hard to overlook, with recycled themes and predictable melodies that fail to capture the infectious energy that once defined Perry's sound.rThe production, while aimed at creating a vibrant dance-pop experience, comes across as flat and uninspired. Tracks like "Woman?s World" and "Lifetimes" feel overly simplistic, lacking the depth and polish that Perry?s best songs usually carry. The collaborations, including features from artists like 21 Savage and Doechii, do little to elevate the overall quality, feeling more like attempts to stay relevant than meaningful creative choices.rDespite bringing back producers like Dr. Luke and Max Martin?who helped craft some of her biggest hits?the magic isn?t there. Instead of a fresh take on her signature style, 143 comes across as a nostalgia-driven project that never quite reaches the heights of Perry?s previous work. The album?s intention to be a joyous dance party is overshadowed by its lack of cohesion and substance.rIn trying to recreate the carefree spirit of Teenage Dream, 143 misses the mark, delivering a forgettable collection of songs that don?t stand out. It's a disappointing release from an artist who once set the bar for pop music but now seems stuck in the past, chasing former glory.
