Mind.In.A.Box pays homage to the good ol' days of bleeps and bloops. But due to the sheer brilliance of Mind.In.A.Box as an artist, there is no way this could be annoying or bad, and listening to this album proves it. Right away you can tell there is a vintage mood in the air because of the opening instrumental. It consists of a very old style of synth repeating itself to create a the perfect mood to get you ready for the remainder of the album. Unfortuately, there are not too many vocals on the album which is shame considering how great Box's vocals are. However, in the songs that do have vocals you can hear how Stefan has adopted an almost opera style especially on the closing track Whatever Mattered. In conclusion, this is still the Mind.In.A.Box we love with the same mood, just a different sound.
