Airbourne are BACK!
Back with more AC/DC ripoffs and predictable songwriting, that is. Runnin' Wild was, to some extent, fun, but after hearing it, we already knew that following it up was a doomed effort from the start. No Guts. No Glory. hasn't even got a single standout, something that made its predecessor bearable, and ends up being a very, very average hard rock record. VERY average.

There are plenty of bands who have built their careers upon the template that AC/DC created. The fact that Airbourne is an Aussie band doesn't necessarily grant them extra credibility or license, especially given that so many other non-Aussie acts have made much better albums in this style. It's mostly just an average album, but their lack of originality pisses me off enough to demote a half point. There's no good reason anyone should really want to listen to this anyhow, unless of course you just really enjoy the masochism of exploring 3rd rate bands.

AC/DC, I mean Airbourne release their 2nd LP and while it contains some catchy tunes and fun for the whole family, it is quite possibly the most predictable and formulaic record of 2010. While this taken in small doses may be fun, listening to this as a whole is nearly impossible.

There are not too many positives to speak of concerning 'No. Guts. No Glory.', but thankfully - on this Standard Edition of the album - they did not include any of the 5 bonus tracks which were later released on the Special Edition.
