Definitely better than last album, but still not good. We Pray should have been on Everyday Life and not on this. They also just pulled of Taylor Swift and released "deluxe" version with 3 new songs. The Wave should have been the closer of album, The Karate Kid is easily the best song and they cut it from album, it is funny how bad their choices are sometimes.

I?m kind of lost on the pure hatred this new Coldplay record is getting. It?s a lot of the sugary and positive pop music the band has been known for the last few years. But the band also goes through some interesting revolutions into ambient pop in which I think they actually do a solid job. The tracks here are bright and shimmering. When the band does delve into ambient styles they execute fairly well. The only huge dips is the weird rap track ?We Pray?, and the more pop rock centered ?IAAM?. But otherwise this is a fine listening experience from the Brit lads.

This is a slightly better experience than Music Of The Spheres. The colors and vibrancy are a bit more aligned, like in the title track or IAAM. WE PRAY is the worst song ever, hands down. GOOD FEELINGS and JUPITER are decent but no more than that. AETERNA and ALL MY LOVE are honestly my favorite songs from this new album. Overall, it?s an okay album.

With their latest release, Coldplay hit new highs of commercialism. Long gone are days of melodic tracks with emotion and thoughts. Bland ballads (either piano based or acoustic guitar ones), unnecessary interludes and electronic music with robotic samples voices are the dominating characteristics. It does not have to do with 'hate' but rather with lack of appreciation for a band which offered so many beautiful tracks in the past and has chosen the easy way and the money. Recommendations: "feelslikeimfallinginlove", "GOOD FEELINGS", "iAAM".
