4.0 excellent | ajcollins15 | August 30th 24 | Spirit of the beehive is just one of those bands who is trying their best to experiment and expand upon the more classic underpinnings of neo-psychedelia. I have always been a fan of this experimentation, especially on their last few releases and this new album continues that. Everything here is that weird and evolving psychedelic rock sound that you would come to expect from the band. Although the band doesn?t take as many risks as they did on their last album or even on their punkier EP last year.

3.8 excellent | A.R.O. STAFF | October 8th 24 | The kaleidoscopic wacko art rock bonanza that Julian Casablancas wishes the Voidz dropped this year

3.5 great | Gene Gol CONTRIBUTOR | September 4th 24 | Hearing this band experiment this many times per minute, twist their sound every which way they can concoct, is definitely refreshing, especially for how trite a lot of their usual work has been. I hope they can find a footing for themselves in all this chaos on a future release. Also, just my two cents, drop the autotune.

3.5 great | buttgrinder | August 23rd 24 | How does the band collectively decide on any singular thing that happens at any point on this album. Incredible really. Huh.
