typical TBDM fare meaning excellent riffs, excellent drumming and at least a couple of
extremely well done and memorable leads. the knock against it would be that they've settled
on this sound for about 20 years now, however the important context is that Brian did an
amazing job filling Trevor's role on this one. might not go down as their greatest release
ever, but imo they just needed to show they still had it, and they did

On initial listen this album feels like a safe to the numbers TBDM album, which can be understandable when trying to create a new foundation post Trevor Strnad. However there are some great highlights trickled in throughout and the latter half having some of the best moments imo. Definitely worth a listen for TBDM fans and anyone who enjoys solid melo death metal

It's impossible to talk about the new album without comparing Trevor's vocals with longtime guitarist, Brian, taking over. And....it's solid. Trevor's imprint is embedded with this band but Brian has his own unique sound albeit without the same power behind it. I wouldn't call it a step back as the drum barrage and guitar riffs are as masterful as they've ever been

Very safe release from these guys, I do love that they're keeping keeping the band going though. Feel like the production kind of hurts the overall feel of the album.
