One of the true pioneers and main influence of the easycore genre, Four Year Strong sounds so uninspired and emotionless that someone should maybe see that they are all okay. ?Analysis Paralysis? is just filled with tracks that feel so derivative to the easycore genre that I wouldn?t be shocked if most of the tracks are just various B-side songs from various old projects. The album starts off strong with ?aftermath/afterthough? but takes a massive dip for the rest of the album. I always felt the band was still kicking strong with their last few modern releases, but man this is bad.

This album is really weird. There's kind of some industrial elements to the sound but it's
also partially grungy and pop punk along with Four Year Strong's easycore/metalcore style.
There is also a not unnoticeable amount of influence from Nu-Metal on tracks like uncooked,
although it isn't obnoxious. *Track by track this album flows a little awkwardly*. This
seems like an honest and personal album, it clearly details some reflective moments in the
life of Four Year Strong vocalist guy which tend to be quite relatable and charged with a
lot of emotion, but it's not as good as Brain Pain.

I was hoping this would be my AOTY, and it...isn't. Between an overreliance on vocal
distortion and a few samey songs this doesn't quite hit the mark like Brain Pain, but the
singles are excellent and there are some other gems scattered throughout.
