Rocks comfortably like Glassjaw while providing a similar level of detail as bands like Idiot Flesh, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, or Mr. Bungle. The Jawbox - y feels are nice as well. Great album, great release. For the previous reviewer that criticized the lack of a Zanzibar episode on the record, I heard a band member say they are releasing a full EP instead for the latest installment of the series.

In certain instances, Look What I Did's style is much like a mish-mash of Indorphine, HORSE the Band without the Nintendo gimmick, and a lil' Tub Ring. Barry Donegan - a man said to have ejaculated blood - and his comrades have put out a consistently rousing effort in the form of Atlas Drugged, scarred by surprisingly bodacious vocal melodies and musicianship which feeds on both insanity and composure at once. There is not one track here even worth slipping off the glacier, and it seems that Look What I Did had searched for their serendipitous jar of avarice.

Look What I Did is one of my favorite bands... Why? Because they are loud, unpredictable, and entertaining to listen to... You can hear elements of funk, hardcore, metal, punk, and sub pop style rock in between the various arrangements.

Really unique sound, songs are very varied, and just a whole lot of fun!

This album is what Minus The Bear would sound like if they were a post-hardcore band. Which is a good thing.

If you liked the band based on the first two albums, you may want to ease into this one. The lyrical mind of Barry Donegan has become lazy it seems. Controversial issues are no longer masked by clever wording and indecipherable vocals. You may like this, you may not. Whenever I bought a LWID album, the treat for me was reaching the end and listening to the next chapter of Zanzibar. Unfortunately, Loow What I Did has abandoned this tradition in only their third album. (In a former interview it was mentioned that there would be 10 chapters of Zanzibar.) I have thoroughly enjoyed "Six Flags Over Jesus" since it was merely the demo, "Clearing the Temple". "My girlfriend, Leo Strauss" and "Quit it" are also very good songs. I must've listened to "fade to daft" 20 times and I still can't make myself like it. The other songs seem to grow on you in moderation., but never to the point of actually liking it. I was terribly disappointed with this album. I still support the band, but I think my musical tastes have shifted one way and their musical direction has shifted the other since the last album. I think the album is too trendy to stand the test of time. Make your own decision. Buy it, download it, whatever. It might be the madness you're looking for.
