I'm not usually into black metal, but Saidan seems to be one of the exceptions. My god this album is crushing from start-to-finish - the way they blend punk into it feels so unique compared to others I've heard in the genre.

Bloody hell, this is amazing! It's still their own very punky, "upbeat" style of black metal, but now they added some thrash and heavy metal into the mix too. The result? Just listen to the second half of "Sick Abducted Purity", and see.

One of the catchiest albums in the melodic black metal realm that I can think of off the top of my head. The guitar tones and the guitar riffs are the highlight here with good transitions between tremolo passages and more groovier sections layered on a mix of D-beats and blast beats.

Not gonna lie, part of why I like this album is the Digimon-opening-theme ass closing riff for Visual Kill but the album has got plenty going for it besides that. Seamless blend of black metal and punk and kickass oldschool style solos. Each of the riffs in this album somehow manage to carry their respective track rather well. Very well-rounded album.

Fun never ends on this record. Playful melodic black metal which worships anime music, punkrock and traditional heavy metal with iconic guitar solos. Every song is killer and pure fun. Fans of the last Moonlight Sorcery album should love this, too.
