There is one significant thing lacking in Pedro
musical formula - it's the scale which lyrics
obtain damaging the musical integrity and
pithiness. Lyrics are big, much bigger and more
open than music and that damages the perception
of music as a whole thing. Lyrics in this genre
must be concise and aphoristical, if not
memetical. The vocal style should let the melody
flow with minimum words. Take for example Tram's
"Nothing Left To Say". It's a whole meme of a
song. While the abundance of words in Bazan's
lyrical output is way too much to let the voice
feel free.
