She found a few functional formulas for her short form songs and has gone for broke in exploiting those as much as possible. A lot of fun and sweet tunes here, even if they so often end up being meddling sketches, only minimally consequential to the album's full run.

I have been following Yaya's music for a few years and several albums now because there has always been something extra to her rather ordinary RnB style. The instrumentals have always kept me coming back, and on her newest album, "Ten Fold," this continues. There are some really groovy tracks on here, like "All Around Los Angeles" and "iloveyoufrankiebeverly," as well as some fun electronic tracks like "So Fantastic" and "Sir Princess Bad Bitch." Yaya has the ability to make fun and exciting songs, but there are also several head-scratching ideas, especially in the back half of the album. Overall, "Ten Fold" is still a fun listening experience, but it's weighed down by some pretty bad tracks throughout, which is normal for a Yaya Bey album.
