not quite as distinctive as some of the previous album, but more solid and consistent at the same time. It having the highest rating out of all of their albums both here and on RYM seems correct

Solid, probably better than their previous even. The new crew are all accomplished, talented musicians who leave their own marks on the album. But can you really say Daath is back without Emil Werstler? The chemistry between Levi and Werstler was the magic that gave this band its distinct sound.
