What I definitely did not expect was to enjoy a middle of the road random alt-indie album with a lot of corny ideas. But they wear the cheese like badges, revelling in the silliness and balancing it neatly with some heartfelt song-writing. It still is rather cute in a "playing Wonderwall to impress girls" kind of way, but that is not always to the detriment.
