Having now listened to it, it's definitely better than the last few. But obviously that's not saying much, and Barnes' voice (even without the EEEEEs) is really distracting. His cadences are super repetitive, and he constantly alternates between rushing and dragging his parts. With that said, Jack Owen is (kinda) the saving grace here; he definitely stepped his game up riff-wise and songwriting-wise from the previous album. But overall, this is still the typical mediocre SFU offering one would expect. Pretty sad that a 2/5 is a generous rating at this stage of their career
