3.0 good | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | March 6th 24 | Mother Mother have always been particularly keen on making as inoffensive pop-rock as possible, often to the result of absolute blandness and forgettability. They mostly continue on doing that, but are quite comfortably settled in their craft that even at its most inoffensive and lacking personality, their newest batch of songs has a mild catchiness to it or at least the feeling of "I don't hate it". It is a thin praise, but a praise nonetheless.
