Not sure just to what extent they are connected to Youth Novel, but I can already tell that these guys are and improvement on all fronts. The song-writing is dynamic, there is depth and emotional heaviness to nearly every song, the production is rough but works well with the style, the multiple vocals actually add a lovely lil interplay that is not too often present in screamo, hxc, or grind. Just a well-crafted album. I still maintain that 7 members is a little much for a screamo band, but heck if it works then go ahead and get 3 more, if you want. P.S.: I don't care if they're a Christian band, this shit slaps.
