It's almost common knowledge to know that a band like For the Fallen Dreams is a poor man's Misery Signals. But is there such a thing as a poor man's For the Fallen Dreams? Convalesce has stepped up to take that role, which should not be a good thing. The band is basically metalcore attempting to be progressive at some points just by making their songs longer. Sadly, you'll hear very few licks n' leads which is something that any Misery Signals copycat should thrive on. This results in a boring and forgettable album.
