So here I am thinking this is some boring Winds of Plague rip off, when the track Disembodiment starts playing...I kid you not, in the middle of the song there is a funk section. Yes, this band take more from a band like BTBAM than Winds of Plague, but they manage to keep it in their pants at the same time. There are beautiful melodic solos, great vocals with the creme de la creme being the symphonic parts. While they still have quite a hold on each song, they do not overpower any of them and instead just let the listener know, "Hello, here I am." The one problem with this album is its length. Sure, ten songs seems reasonable to some, but not when four out that ten are 2 minute instrumentals. It seems like a waste, when these instrumentals could easily support vocals and become real songs to be enjoyed by all.

Needs some song-writing improvement and less filler, but is a very interesting and diverse listen. The sprinkled use of jazz, funk and rock is refreshing and never gets too out of hand, but the excessive filler tracks, though well-written, annoy me. The actual songs themselves are excellent, and if this band makes improvements in production, song-writing, and use less filler, they could be something really special. This will probably end up being at the bottom of my Top 25 of 2010 list. Great job guys.

The album is an EP, not a full-length so considering that it's almost as long as what some bands try to pass as a full-length, I certainly wouldn't complain about the length of the album! They are also practically giving it away at $5.99.
