Im being serious because this happens with all new albums. The recency bias falls apart and the album of the year
becomes another 3.9. Do NOT let it happen to this album, this album is absolutely unbelievable. This does to me what
other people have claimed Jane Doe does for them, captures complete lyrical mastery about complicated but universal
struggles. This album is immense. Not one second wasted. Album of the year so far, and if I hear another contender, Im
going to relisten to this just to solidify how great this one is.

Love so much of this, but its relentlessness is exhausting. Definite grower as in three listens it grew from a 3.5 to now a potential 4.5. We'll see.

It is near to an picture perfect screamo album and overall production, art and so on...but on a few songs there are little lengths here and there. If you want, you can hear Touche Amore influenced guitars and Deafheaven vocals but in the end this is a pure screamo fest.

Artificial Bouquet is a huge, dynamic, and deeply emotional blackgaze-infused skramz record that benefits from a punchy production (ofc it's Jack Shirley) but fails to bring different nuances to each of its songs - ie it's beautifully monochrome. Makes me wanna jam Loma Prieta or State Faults.
