Rawer, harder, funkier, bouncier, and probably a better album overall than Ridin' Dirty. Bun B improves considerably from Too Hard to Swallow, but Pimp C remains the bigger mic presence which is refreshing given how inundated rap is with Bun B features at this point. The evolution of Pimp C's production was incredibly rapid, moving in one album from adequate to the best in the south, irresistibly funky with the best sense for catchy melodies of any producer ever. It's similar to Southerplaylisticadillacmuzik, a true southern classic that has unfortunately been buried by the group's later work.
