I knew this would be a return to a simpler Khruangbin sound, and that is good to hear. There’s very little new
ground broken, which is a little disappointing. It’s kinda like DJ, Mark, and Laura Lee are maybe taking stock in
the essence of what Khruangbin is after many successive years of sonic expansion. Regardless, I t’s still a vibe,
and this album is very enjoyable. A LA SALA is definitely mandatory Khruangbin.
