So weird to hear such a consistent assortment of tracks that sound like the makings of something worthwhile and fun, but the band just has minimal interest or energy in confidently selling them. Remo Drive entering their era of loungy softness is unjustified when their performance drags like a slug and their conviction in this odd ill-inspired direction is basically nonexistent.
