A solid album of heavy pounding sludge, this band knows noise rock VERY well. Thick bass, pounding drums, killing guitars, yelled vocals. Unsane indeed. This is their sixth full length and maybe their best.

Punch-you-in-your-stupid-face energy. Slide guitar/harmonica infusion. Better than ever sound production. Pitchfork gave this album a 5/10. All positives. Most of the album bleeds together into a same sound-y experience. That's what takes it down from a 5. Other than that, punishing and blues-y all at once, this album is exactly what the doctor ordered for your candy-ass.
