ohhh this death metal is MUCH too death metal for me, why don't they try doing things death metal bands don't do oh no no nooo!!!

If you don't want death metal this chaotic there are endless other albums out there. This is amazing at what it does and stands out in the genre. In ways, it feels like a next evolution for death metal. The way this stuff can fractalize out in a kaleidoscope of melodic brutality is enthralling.

overwhelmingly loud and noisy. if you can listen to this and hear anything besides the constant trigger of the bass drum, then there is proficient, interesting death metal to be found

sigh...what the fuck is this? it starts amazing, shame and its afterbirth is great modern behemothy blackened death. but then their derpcore roots start to become exposed, and you think its just a minor slip up, but no, as your hope of giving this a 4 avalanches down the cliff and the rotten nasty roots become fully exposed like the erection of an ugly uncircumsized wiener

Very furious death metal that would greatly benefit from less busy compositions and a more spaced-out production.

Challenging, chaotic death metal with a dissonant, blackened tinge.

Definitely busy. Fun af record always on the verge of being too much. Rather the more disturbing vibe from the previous one. Prod on this a lot like Cattle decap.

Smok do u actually listen to albums before creating soundoffs or do u just prefer making urself look like u have no clue what ur talking about and having really dumb things that make no sense spew from ur mouth???

Bump

3.0 goodmk7 | February 8th 24

As much as I want to like this album, there is just too much going on. Why does every song need a layer of synths? Those really detract from the heaviness of the songs. The guitar sound is also a bit to extreme. I get it, this is extreme metal but a bit more restraint regarding sound and arrangement and the band could have delivered the promised step up from their first album.

3.0 good[blank] CONTRIBUTOR | February 8th 24

Massive and ferocious modern death metal, but it could have been much-much better if it'd contain more instrumental/slower pieces or sections, like "Survival's Careening Inertia" (which was absolutely the best track on this album). The high "octane number" (intensity within) is convincing (poor drummer, this must be a killer task!), but it's a bit too much.

Yeah, I'm not feeling this as much as most people it seems. Musicianship and technical
prowess are brilliant but in the end it sounds like Hate Eternal on steroids (and I was never
a huge HE fan tbh). Also too many layers of sound, overloaded scene, like other user
specified, these arrangements are too busy.
If Jari Maenpaa teamed up with these guys to release something there would be such a
brickwall of vst effects and instrument tracks that the music would reach inaudibility
levels.

Even for extreme metal, these arrangements are way too busy.
