I respect when bands want to recycle, change or experiment other sounds. Sometimes they release great albums and some other times they don't. Everyone should have the oportunity to prove that can make different things. But Helloween already did that when Chamaleon saw the light of the day. And time has treated Chamaleon the same way than when it first came out.
Unearth is basically the bastard son of Chamaleon and only Dr. Stein may have thumbs up. Poor album!

Firstly, THIS IS NOT HELLOWEEN'S LAST ALBUM. THEY HAVE ALREADY BOOKED STUDIO TIME FOR THEIR NEXT ACTUAL METAL RELEASE.
Now about the album, the only remixed song I like is Dr. Stein. That's it.

For all the talk about how tongue-in-cheek Helloween has always been, it should still be their top priority to give their fans quality power metal albums. Rehashing old material is okay if it's an improvement, but it sounds a lot like Helloween are making fun of themselves and it's not particularly funny this time.
One would think that "Chameleon" should have taught this band to stick to what they do best...and to leave this type of experiment to the bands that aren't able to forge great music the way Helloween always has.
