3.0 good | Gibleson | March 24th 24 | Conceptually, I like the idea of them stripping away the electronic hyperpop excess of SPEED RUN to do something more live, but in execution it's more boring than it is engaging. "Bernadette' and "Frost Park" were standouts.

3.0 good | cjbizzlebizzle | December 28th 23 | I appreciate releasing a dynamic set of albums with two drastically different sounds and a hyperpop band going for an indie rock/emo/pop album but it falls quite a bit short of their prowess in the upbeat electronic music world. In the end it is not bad but it doesn't rise above other stuff in this genre. 'Stare At the Sun' is really good and 'Frost Park' and 'Bob Dylan' are also cool.

3.5 great | ajcollins15 | November 22nd 23 | The second album for the duo of 2023 sees them drastically redirect their blistering and bright hyperpop sound for a more subtle and indie rock direction. ?Hearth Room? is a simple indie and post-emo record that very much relies on the songwriting ability in which the duo shows off some great writing abilities. Won?t blow your mind, especially for how much influence they are taking from acts like glass beach, but there are a lot of memorable moments here.
