3.0 good | rifkadm | January 10th 25 | There are some decent motifs and bones here that stand out more than the last LP, but really nothing super special compared to what she has released in the past with We Slept at Last and I'm Not Your Man.

4.0 excellent | Gene Gol CONTRIBUTOR | February 29th 24 | Marika finally pulls all strings at her Goldberg device for an emotional all-flavour indie record, where genteel singer-songwriter tropes build wondrous structures on top engrossing explosions.

3.2 good | Erwann S. STAFF | February 6th 24 | Big Sigh is the kind of singer-songwritery indie folk record that reaches anthemic levels when it puts a lil rock in its formula. When it stays on its (slow) course, it quickly becomes monotonous.

3.5 great | ajcollins15 | January 15th 24 | Marika's latest album continues her witty and immersive style as an anthemic singer/songwriter. The 36-minute record packs a punch with clever lyrics that may leave you twisting your head in admiration. While the album leans a bit towards the bland side for my personal taste, it presents a plethora of great ideas that are worth revisiting. The boisterous and playful indie folk instrumentals, complemented by light chamber instrumentation and occasional piano ballads, add an extra layer of charm to the overall experience.
