The thing I find disappointing about the Lion's Daughter is not some lack of talent or song-writing skill, as they have enough of that to share and then some. The thing is that six albums in they are stable and tight, yet predictable. Seldom throughout the album did I think that this indeed sounds like a new L'sD release, as opposed to just any of their previous ones over again. I still found it highly enjoyable and well-performed, but I sure am starting to get tired a little.
