An already classic sounding beautiful post-black metal record with perfect riffs and just amazing vocal lines by Eklatanz! He is literally one of The best vocalists in the game. Just perfect PB record.

'the circle' was definitely a fluke i guess. the most 'background music' black metal release i've heard in a while.

A shocking contrast with the Wastelands EP that released earlier this same year and the masterpiece that is The Circle. This album's redeeming qualities end where I begin paying attention to what's actually happening in it. Where The Circle was a master class in dynamic songwritting and album structuring, Nightsphere is an exercise in textureless post black-metal and mild musicianship. I still moderately enjoyed Twilight of the Machines as it is the more interesting track of the album.

Agree with DarkNoctus, a 6 year wait for 3 largely snoozefest songs (only Glacierheart is really good) and a 11 minutes of ambient is such a bummer. Biggest disappointment of the year so far for me. Back to rinsing 'The Circle'.
