Fans of the older Aesthetic Perfection may be shocked when they listen to their latest release. This album takes on a more modern approach with more mainstream song structures as opposed to a lead synth line taking control of a song. Here, there is more verse-chorus type of writing which may lead the listener to believe that Aesthetic Perfection has gone commercial. This is partly true also due to the lack of emotion in the songs; they seem fit for a club, but for personal listening they may get stale very quickly.
