Fairly standard black metal album which runs on high tempo from the very beginning until to the very end (so pretty much like an Immortal album). Quite melodic and they even did some fine solos too. Moreover, this had some really De Mysteriis-alike moments, which was a huge improvement from the previous few albums. Alexi Laiho was great (RIP). I have no idea why did they include "Assault The Weak", because that song was simply horrible...

Little better and more black metal than previous album (tr.5 Post Eclipse Era is even slower, longer and quite atmospheric), but still one of their weaker in discography I think... But you know, in fact I like all their releases.
The only IN release with Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom) on guitar.
