In terms of where this fits in the Hirsch Effekt Expanded Universe(tm), I'm not sure. It's
undeniably the band's signature style and it's performed as superbly as has come to be
expected (excluding Kollaps), but it's not as unique on its face. What it DOES provide is
some of the group's most violent tracks to date (especially "2054"), which gives it a
surprisingly heavy edge that this go around doesn't feel forced. All in all, man it just
feels good to hear these guys back in their element.
