Yep. Still sounds/feels like Tesseract. Hard to see anyone changing their opinions on them based off this. Sirens is bad. The rest isn't.

Consistently solid, but - as so often with this band - lacking in terms of songwriting. This album won't change anyone's opinion on the band. If you didn't vibe with them in the past, you won't this time. If you did vibe with them, you will. If they were always so-so you - as it is thencase for me - this will frustrate you. The quality is there, but there is no reason to come back to this

The adhd album. Forced, chaotic, unfocused. Sounds like tesseract are really striving to
push their boundaries, but they just end up doing something they don't feel anymore
instead.

On the band?s fifth album, they seem to be reaching into the progressive metal and rock bucket they started with back on their 2011 debut album. Since that time the band has not strayed a whole lot from their djent-filled progressive metal with a mix of post-metal ambiance. However, for me, this new album feels as stale as their 2018 album was. Most of the album is the same thing over and over again, which is fine in small chunks but as a whole listening experience, this falls kind of flat.
