"Y Not," is essentially what you get with Ringo Starr. Neither attempting to be groundbreaking nor spectcular, the record is a collection of conventional rock tracks that don't appear to have a great deal of substance. Although rather average in nature, the album contains enough solid material to make it somewhat worth while.
