It's funny how the maligned synths from a decade or so ago are now all the rage. Krallice's shift is not off-putting or surprising, but their execution is a little bland to me. I could not really pick up what the aim was above the dense atmosphere. None of the songs stuck out and few moments sounded like worth the effort for both the band and the listener.
