Got some awesome stuff, SUPER heavy. Clean vocals feel a little out of place, with [re]connect being the only song that does them well. Overall solid shit

Honestly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Was kinda turned off by the singles sans Synthwave Vegan but everything else was very not bad (and I even came around on Red Fur and Mother Pt. 4). Definitely not as great as Matriarch or False Idol but they've still got it.

This clearly isn't the same band that released the first four albums... or at least it doesn't sound like it. Personally, I'm not too upset about it since everything but the last one was pretty damn boring. Anyway, I don't mind the mainstream, accessible, djent/metalcore thing they have going. I like the chugs, the rhythms, the harsh vocals, the electronics... but the clean singing kind of drags down a lot of these songs.

This album is fine, but it is Veil of Maya on autopilot. They have essentially made AI music without even having to go to the AI program. On first listen, it feels like there is substance and ingenuity, a hint of something new that could reinvigorate their sound from the lazy False Idols; in reality, there is a strong lack of progression, and a staggering amount of riffs that feel outdated and lazy. While not necessarily bad or boring, I'm disappointed that the band who put out Common Man's Collapse, [id], Eclipse, and Matriarch is now too scared to change their sound once again. If I wanted to listen to metalcore from 2016, I will listen to their earlier output, not this.

Not a good album at all which is a damn shame, cause I actually enjoyed a lot of Matriarch and False Idol. This album to me is just way too messy, overproduced, and just downright uninteresting.

its pretty much EXACTLY what everyone expected right? Some nice riffing, awkwardly place cleans and an over abundance on production. It's Veil through and through.

So disappointed. This is borderline horrible. I think I read they had to throw away an
entire album of material they previously wrote/recorded due to some contract/legal issues
which is a shame because the singles they released a few years ago are leaps and bounds
better than anything on this album. Almost feels like they just rushed something out just to
finally release an album after years. This is such a big drop off from their previous two
albums, really sad it turned out like this.

It's fun, I feel like even with the nonstop random guitar noises the songs still somehow blend
