That! Feels Good! is a victory lap, to varying degrees. In the age of eighty-minute mainstream albums, I like to think of this record as a statement: ten tracks, forty minutes really is the perfect package for a pop record that oozes sophistication while not taking itself too seriously, and that knows when to trade the bomb-ass-thicc with lovers' lullabies. This record is also a revenge. Six years after considering abandoning her music career, That! Feels Good is Jessie Ware at her most exultant, happy to just let go, dance, and enjoy herself. And she's so genuine that now that's all I want to do too.

This is one of my most-listened records of the year and it's still absolutely fabulous. I've always loved Jessie but she's never made an entire album that's so delicious from top to bottom, dripping with ear candy and the classiest of innuendo.

Jessie Ware does it again with bright and groovy disco music for the modern era to get down and boogie. Plus, she brings in a lot more classic soul and funk styles that were not seen on her last full-length album. However, with all that said it?s extremely hard not to compare this record to that one. One of the major things I am missing on this new album that was presented on ?What?s Your Pleasure? is the extremely catchy and instantly memorable hooks and instrumentals. There are some tracks on here that are solid while they are on, but I completely forget when the album is off. Therefore, in many ways, it seems she but off more than she could chew on this one. I very much hope she continues to explore these classic disco, soul, and funk vibes she creates, but I think there needs to be a more seamless collection of tracks.
