3.9 excellent | Erwann S. STAFF | May 9th 23 | De Souza conjures too many things at once (indie pop, grunge, alt-country, and everything in fucking between that Venn diagram). And it somehow works on me, the record's lack of coherence soon fading away under the light brought by these individual songs. They are almost all catchy and pissed-off (and that's a combo I like), but they mostly carry the kind of melodeez that decides not to leave my head for quite some time (that "I never left" inclination in "Parking Lot" for example, or the horns following the chorus in "The Water").

4.5 superb | ajcollins15 | May 3rd 23 | Something that has been lacking from indie music the last few years (other than extremely recently with the energy in Gen-Z pop music) is angst, energy, and bite. When 2017?s ?Powerplant? by Girlpool came out there was a breath of new life into what kind of energy could exist in indie music that we have not seen in years. This new album from the NC-based band really shows all the above-mentioned attributes as well as a true sense of fun and passion. The stylistic blend of raw slacker rock with the energy of indie rock adds so much texture and life to this new album. Not only that but the incorporation of country guitars and horns also adds an even more explosive and fun sound. I cannot recommend this album enough to those looking for a fun indie album for summer.

2.0 poor | Sputniks #1 Cacti Hunter | April 30th 23 | One incredible song, two great ones, and a bunch of cookie cutter filler. Really disappointed after the trajectory she
showed over the last two records.

4.0 excellent | cjbizzlebizzle | December 27th 23 | 'All of This Will End' brings a potent mix of indie/slacker rock, indie pop with a touch of alt-country and Indigo de Souza pretty much nails it on all fronts. Indigo has a knack for producing warm, interesting vocal melodies and songs that bleed emotion and develop wonderfully, even in short runtimes. A lot of criticism of this record is how it is all over the place or lacks cohesion but in the end that is a strength of the album. Indigo bobs and weaves through different styles leaving a nicely flowing album that goes from the soft, introspective 'Losing' to the heavier slacker rock tune 'Wasting Your Time' and so on. The one minor criticism I agree with is the blunt lyrics but really only once or twice on the record does it bother me, personally. While the album starts with shorter, catchier songs the album ends with two songs that really develop slowly and bloom wonderfully. The ender 'Younger and Dumber' is the icing on the cake, a slow burner that is the perfect conclusion, showcasing Indigo's powerful vocals and true songwriting talent.
