| 4.0 excellent | hesperus | March 6th 23 | Liars on amphetamines. LCD Soundsystem being eviscerated by a pack of wolves. The Matrix Reloaded rave scene as soundtracked by the Jesus Lizard. Daughters if Alexis Marshall was a chill queer dude instead of a domestic abuser.

| 3.3 great | Erwann S. EMERITUS | March 8th 23 | Brooklyn windmill goes noisy industrial, but it's kinda dancey?? Although their influences are mucho evidento (just read the thread to see the gazillion of other bands that vaguely sound like them), the way they infuse sexiness into ominous industrial noisy shit is what sold me in the end. Vocals are meh but idc my foot was tapping all along and that's all I really want.

| 4.0 excellent | ajcollins15 | March 7th 23 | Not every day do you get something so jagged and so beautiful at the same time. The debut album from the Boston 4-man noise rock band continues what they had built on their three albums in 2016 and 2017, but adds a much heavier dose of these danceable post-industrial drums. However, nothing about the album is really that danceable with off-putting synthesizers in the classic no-wave style. Overall it is polarizing listening and maybe that isn?t great most of the time, but when it hits it hits super hard. Especially when the more melodic singing style comes in on tracks like ?Divers? and ?Sleepless?.
