| 2.0 poor | ajcollins15 | March 1st 23 | The new record from Meg Remy feels like a big step down from not only her exceptional 2018 ?In A Poem Unlimited?, but even the simplistic soul style of her last record ?Heavy Light?. ?Bless This Mess? feels and sounds like a complete mess of a record with all these cluttered and conflicting styles of disco, electropop, and pop soul. On top of it, most of the singing on here can be rather rough and can be out of tune which is weird for a Meg record. I still believe she can bounce back, with all the stylistic changes she has presented through the years, but for now, we are kind of stuck with this record.
