Marginally better than Act I thanks to its heavier nature but the synth pop aesthetic is still incredibly jarring sonically,
especially with Corgan’s vocals being completely ill fitted to that kind of sound. Empires, the industrial tinged Moss and
Beguiled are the only highlights here; the rest is middling, bland and completely forgettable. Zero hope for Act III sadly.

In an interview Leonard Cohen was asked what he meant in a certain poem. He replied, ?Wrestling is real?. WPC, let your audience interpret your music the way they want to. Very monotone album compared to other opera like albums like Sting?s The Last Ship or Bowie?s Ziggy Stardust.

I just cannot take this band seriously anymore.... what is the point in having Jimmy in the lineup if you're going to just use drum loops? At least with modern pop and trap music, you have solid production. This doesn't even have that.rI have nothing against Synth Pop (Metric and Chvrches are great!), but this is just so painful to hear. And somehow this is marginally better than Act 1.
