Not phenomenal, because Ian Curtis's voice can get really boring (Transmissions), but the songwriting is great. Isolation is the albums best song.

Anybody that likes Joy Division is delusional, it's badly recorded, terribly produced, laughably lame and mind rnumbingly boring. I honestly can't see the appeal of such nonsense. Utter garbage. Ian Curtis was not your rmatyr.

amazing cd as individual songs, but don't expect all the songs to flow together. Still very deep and influential songs. What Joy Division did in such a short amount of time, makes you wonder what they could have done with more time

Honestly Joy Division are an amazingly deep band and the tracks on here are superb. The problem is the mixing, why the hell does everything sound so clearly overly loud? Is meant to be that way? On merit for the tracks alone its a superb compilation, but the final mastering seems to ask questions.
