4.0 excellent | My ratings are sometimes real | January 9th 23 | Only a 4 because first album and the promise
shown.. more of a 3.5...Lofi emo doom that is
as creative as it is textured as it is muddy as
it is crisp as it is haunting as it is
interesting. Hopefully there is an evolution to
this. Maybe less counterpoint vocals sometimes
to focus on a more direct vocal story but hey
it's whatever, the potential shown is immense.

3.0 good | ajcollins15 | January 18th 23 | In many ways, this new collaboration from the two bigger names in the post-emo scene sounds a bit too much like both of the artist's last two records in 2022 but fused together. Even to the point where there are melodies and chord progressions that feel ripped right out of their last LPs. Not to say the record is bad because there is still that hazy and noisy style of shoegaze that I (and many others) have grown to love from this post-emo scene. Wish they had made someone more original and allowed them to push each other more.

3.5 great | Erwann S. STAFF | January 10th 23 | nu korezilian emogaze goes for blackened shrieks to convey their lo-fi sadboi existentialism. dreamglow (they gotta up their album name game at some point) features a gripping atmosphere that doesn't necessarily translate into cogent songs. Nevertheless, the best 2023 album thus far.
