the beats aren't as weird as they used to be, but they're still pretty legit. As for the rapping, it's changed a little bit. Malice still raps the same way he ever did and the same talent he ever did, but Pusha switches from his best and worst performances yet, sometimes just writing simplistic bravado lines that would fit on any generic rap albums, and sometimes like on 'Freedom" writing such lines that could easily compare to their old stuff. Other than a few real highlight tracks, like the descending piano notes and hilarious lyrics courtesy of the group and Cam'ron of the anthemic "Popular Demand (Popeyes)" and the melodic guitar and realism of "Freedom", it's easily the worst Clipse release yet, but it's still far from bad.
