Finally there is a person who rated this album as 3,5...I just hate those fanboys who are constantly hyping the rating of their beloved band...just look at the drewguy's profile...or cristane's...
Evidently Lunic's fans are from the same league.
EDIT: I have heard this album...it just has an absolute lack of essence. There are some cool ideas, which ape badly realized. Singer is decent, though.

Rishloo have finally broken away from their influences and come into their own. No longer is the band just another Tool ripoff. Those looking for another Eidolon may be disappointed, however Feathergun does many things right. The vocals are still the highlight of the band, and the guitars are still wailing out fuzzy delay drenched riffs, but all in a Rishloo only way. 'Downhill' and 'Feathergun in the Garden of the Sun' are standout tracks on the album, both progressing within themselves and are filled with plenty of surprises. Overall Feathergun is a worthy addition to the Rishloo catalogue, but the band still has a ways to go before they perfect their new found signature sound.

I have never listened to Tool until I found Rishloo. This was the first band that I listened to that had a sound like this, so this album blew me away. I love the song structures, and how the band understands that music is more than just notes. Their music has dynamics. Most tracks have an increasing intensity that climaxes at the chorus that just floors me every time.

Probably one of the few albums that inspired me to look for music outside of my comfort zone. The album artwork looked so strange as I began listening to "similar bands like Tool" (via Reddit) and I stumbled this album. I really could not hear the similarities, which came as a good thing: I finally found ANOTHER BAND that could actually play. Their psychedelia is unlike any I have heard of before in my few years of adapting to prog music. Another great quality is the singing! The vocals on the front man are amazing - I dare say he might be the male equivalent to Bjork (for prog rock music).

Not as good as Eidolon, but it contains some good songs, yet with some fillers. Feathergun is so catchy, and Downhill, is simply a perfect song.
