Some amount of this sounds like Divisi with a vocalist who isn't killing themself to pull it off, some I can't describe. Amber has a heavy affect and it can lend an artful surprise to some carrying passages. No skips for me, and heavy hitters like Forever Endeavor really pick up the album at what could otherwise be an ebb
