The symphonic power metal breaking many rules, with guests like Chaq Mol from Dark Funeral, using very weird funny arrangements like salsa in the middle of Sunlight Knight, mixing orchestral, progressive and heavy metal like no many dares. The "adventure metal" label is just right!

their weakest effort by far, getting bored and running out of ideas. band track isnt nearly as explosive as one would hope, everything else just kind of barely scrapes epicity. not nearly as complex or overwhelming as their other albums, taking a slower, more fillery route. crystal bearer is the worst for that. still generally fun, both knight tracks are easily the best/most traditional twilight force

The exact same power metal you've heard a thousand times before. Well-executed, and if you just want to see new faces reciting power metal standards, it'll scratch that itch, but it's nothing you haven't been able to find elsewhere for decades.

While the longer compositions may be a little lackluster, I just can't deny how much fun this thing is. Twilight Force are THE premier act in modern power metal, so you really can't go wrong with giving this a listen. Feel-good metal at its finest.
