| 3.5 great | ajcollins15 | April 11th 23 | Never thought I would see the day that Ellie Goulding actually makes a solid-sounding Electropop album. ?Higher Than Heaven? is a really impressive feat for the long-standing melodic dubstep and electropop artist. No more are the soaring and bombastic dubstep beats. Now we see nu-disco and synthpop style beats over her lush vocals. Although the album does feel like a lower version than some of the best in this style, by no means is it a bad album and I am one to amend her for doing something so adventurous.

can't blame her for feeling discouraged, still it's sad to see
