I didn't know entirely what to expect when I hit play on Soundtrack For The Revolution (also known as SoFTeR). Having only heard their self titled I was assuming that this would be more of the same, and I was both correct and wrong in that assumption. The energy from The Shizit is present, but I'll be damned if SoFTeR doesn't have better instrumentation. Ironically every sound here is softer, and the group shows that not only can they make noise, but they can create atmosphere ("I Walk Through Walls"). This sound, this musicianship, is something I could fall in love with.
