Bottom Line: My favorite album of 2009, without a doubt, and one of the best debut albums I've ever heard. Everything about this album is amazing, even the interlude. Maybe I like it so much because they're very very similar to my favorite band, The Faceless, and it makes it so much better that I am seeing them both next week. GET THIS ALBUM.

The instrumentation is great, but the vocals ugh... not really my type... If you're a fan of The Black Dahlia Murder definitely check this out. I will avoid this though.

This album is in the same vein as the faceless' planetary duality with great technical death metal that includes more black metal influences than PD which helps seperate it from the group. Also great dynamics here especially in our cursed rapture which is definitely the best on this great album.
